Episode 4 of CNN's "Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy." The dichotomy of the Lombardy region, Milan's fast paced financial ambitions and the remainders committed to preserving traditions, find common ground with BUTTER.

1. Il Duomo - The first stop of Stanley's Milan experience can only be this majestic cathedral. The roof top not only has stunning views of the city but also feels worlds apart.


2. Ratanà - As if Italy didn't have enough historic culinary hits, Chef Ceasre Battisti makes his case and lays Italy's claim to schnitzel.


3. Mag Cafe - Stanley enjoys a long standing Milanese past time, the Happy Hour. After a few aperitivi Stanley is more than happy.


4. Tencitt - After receiving a martini form a master mixologist, Stanley is overjoyed with this speakeasy vibe and its creator.


5. The Bitto Centrer - Stanley meets a man dedicated to a cheese production process 2000 years in the making. With this special ingredient, Stanley switches to chef and makes dinner for the production crew.


6. Lake Como - A popular destination for its overwhelming beauty, Stanley visits with a local resident who works hard to preserve the lake's resources.


7. Missoni/Sumirago - Lunch with the Missoni's brings Stanley lessons on everything from mushrooms, to polenta, to fashion. This link will bring you to the Mission boutique, not Sumirogo, no dropping by for lunch without an invitation.

5. Boccondivino - A very different Italian experience. A simple aperitif, a tasting of salami, 2 first course tastings and a cheese course, all with wine pairings at a set price. This is a fun dinner with friends! Reservation required.



6. Trattoria Milanese - Located in the trendy Navigli area, this classic trattoria has an old wooden bar, an extensive wine list and spectacular typical milanese dishes. Risotto, risotto, risotto!








7. Trattoria Toscana - Entering you will wonder if you are in the right place. The strange hallway leads to an open air garden surrounding a fountain. You can find Tuscan specialties in this casual candle lit space. Reservation recommended.
